REIKI FIRST DEGREE LEVEL ONE COURSE OUTLINE

Reiki is a holistic Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation, and spiritual healing. Rei means higher knowledge or spiritual consciousness, and Ki means life energy. Reiki, as a whole, is spiritually guided life energy.

Reiki Level One Course Objectives

The Reiki First Degree Level 1 course is conducted over 1 day and covers the following:

• Introduction to Reiki
• The story of Reiki
• The Reiki Principles
• Reiki Attunement Process
• Self treatment
• Hand Positions for treatment of others
• Practical sessions on giving and receiving Reiki
• How to conduct a Reiki session
• Introduction to metaphysics
• Other uses for Reiki
• Code of practice and insurance for therapists

During Reiki 1 training, you are taught the general principles of Reiki and become familiarised with its history and roots.

You will receive three attunements. These attunements are focused mainly on opening up the physical body so that it can then accept the energy.  You will learn how to feel Reiki energy, you will also be taught and have practise on how to give a treatment, firstly to yourself and secondly to other people. This part of the course assists the integration of the energy and gives you the tools to become a Reiki Practitioner.

On completion of the course, you will receive the First Degree Reiki Certificate as well as on-going support and advice.

You must have completed any Reiki One Course before enrolling for this course. 

Reiki 2 course is a one-day course, and covers the following:

• Questions and Answers from your experiences with Reiki 1
• Reiki 2 Attunement
• Learning the Mantras and how to draw the Reiki 2 symbols
• Many uses of the symbols
• Distance Healing
• Reiki Code Of Ethics
• Practical sessions on using the symbols
• Client Consultation and Keeping Records

Second Degree is all about reinforcing or enhancing your connection to the Reiki energy.

The key aspect of Reiki 2 is learning and working with 3 of the Reiki symbols.

Where Reiki 1 worked on treating the physical body, these symbols allow the Practitioner to focus on Mental and Emotional imbalances as well. The use of symbols also intensifies the effects of Hands on treatments. The concept of non duality is learned by sending Reiki Energy to those not physically present and sending Energy to past or future events. Ideally it is also about opening yourself up to your intuitive side so that you feel confident enough to throw away the basic Reiki ‘rule book’ and gear your treatments towards the individual needs of the recipient.

On completion of the course, you will receive the Fully Accredited Second Degree Reiki Certificate, be qualified as a Reiki Practitioner, as well as on-going support and advice.

A fully comprehensive manual is included, full day training, Reiki Level 2 Attunement and Life long ongoing support.

Reiki Master and Teacher Level

This is the advanced Master plus Teacher level.  After having completed the Reiki Level 2 training, you can seize the opportunity to train to the Master & Teacher level in the Usui Method of Natural Healing. This level will significantly increase your personal energy as well as enabling you to initiate others into Reiki.

Becoming a Reiki Master is likely one the most amazing decisions you will ever make!

Therefore, please don’t feel intimidated. You don’t need to start teaching straight away – in fact, most Reiki Masters never do.

The main reason to join a Reiki Master Course is to understand the full potential of the system of Reiki, and the wish to dedicate your life to Reiki as a spiritual path.

Course Requirements: Training in Reiki 1 and 2 in a form of traditional Usui Reiki is a prerequisite. Booking is subject to individual approval.
