How do Ear Candles work?
The candles are made from the natural ingredients of beeswax, honey extracts, sage, St Johns Wort, chamomile, beta-carotene and organically grown flax. A constant high quality is ensured.
The candles work on a chimney principle, drawing any impurities to the surface where they can be gently removed. They equalise the pressure in the head and ears, making them suitable for most conditions. Secretion flow is gently stimulated and the vapour collects and removes impurities or deposits. You will learn the process of convection in regards to how the candles work.
Most of these are carried away through the candle “chimney”, although some of them can be found in the condensed candle wax residue after removal from the ear, or could even work their way up to the surface 24-48 hours after treatment.
This course will demonstrate not only how to perform a professional treatment on clients but also enable you to run your own workshop for clients.
Running an ear candling workshop can be a fulfilling way to educate others on a unique wellness practice, but it’s crucial to prioritize safety and informed decision-making. Being transparent about the risks, emphasizing alternatives, and ensuring legal compliance are all key to creating a positive and ethical experience for attendees.

Sharon says
“I’ve suggested an additional modality for the face due to the focus on the sinuses with the treatment, You are shown how to do a draining massage to the face, but by learning a longer sequence you could offer a more profound treatment. The application of drainage and pressure points can make this a truly wonderful experience. I have also suggested Indian head massage as it is a popular combination treatment”.
